今天的写作背景是作为一名学生会主席，要组织举办一场英语竞赛，邀请教授来作为此次竞赛的评委。

开始背作文前先背一下用到的词汇。

convince说服，信服 convience方便

开头可以寒暄也可以自我介绍，如果和教授认识则寒暄，不认识就自我介绍，也可以二者结合，介绍加寒暄，说自己是某某过去听教授的课咋了，这个可以但没必要，字数会超。然后表明目的，为了邀请他来做评委
中间段介绍竞赛的时间地点，以及为什么专门邀请他的原因。主要原因可以所是听了他的课，觉得他特别专业，因为他的原因好多学生喜欢上演讲，等等，一般两条字数就够。
尾段写希望他早点回复，可展望未来，在他的支持下竞赛将会圆满举行。或者希望他接受邀请来参加。

Dear professor sky,

As the chairman of the students union in this university who is in charge of organizing the upcoming English speech contest,I am writing for the purpose of inviting you to be one of the major judges.

To begin with,this contest is scheduled to start at19:00 on June26 in the Center of Students' Activities and last for approximately2 hours.In addition,on behalf of students,I am deeply grateful for your excellent teaching in English speech and it is your efforts that enable a host of youngest,including me to enhance our English proficiency.Thus,compared with the past years,more students become confident this year and they have singned up for the contest.

Finally,all of us hope that you can be one of the main judges for the contest and give professional comments.

尾段另外一种写法：

we are convinced that with your support,the contest will be successful and we are looking forward to your favorable reply at your convience.
